Week 3 With Family!

Julie and her girls were here this last week and Damon was in heaven with constant friends. Damon and Emily were so cute together. Tommy also had fun with the girls...Anne was an awesome "baby watcher" for us. Tommy and Henry were total opposites but were cute to watch too. Tommy sits and learned how to roll over but hates being stuck on his tummy. Henry rolls all over the place and hates sitting. Pretty funny. We went to the zoo again and this time Grandma bought the goat food for the kids to feed the animals. Damon would just drop it on the ground and watch the goats lick it up. We swam and had swimming lessons for the kids. Damon is doing really well being more confident with little "armies" (water wings) on. He loves playing with Uncle Jeff in the pool...and anywhere else. The girls left on Sunday and Damon came up to me and said,"what's Grandpa doing?" I told him he was doing things for church. Then he said,'What's Grandma doing?" and I told him the same thing. THen he said,"Then who can play with me?" He's been sad there's only been babies around for a few days, but today Kim comes and Spence's family will be here...cousins for Damon! Barrett finished the Bar today!!!!!! We orignially weren't going to see him for another week and a half, but plans changed and he'll be coming to California tomorrow!! Yay! Damon is really excited...me too:)

Week 2 in Picture Review

Week 2 was pretty good here in good ol' California. We went to the zoo in town...Damon really only cared about drinking his juice box and eating snacks:) We've been enjoying the pool and Damon's getting a little more brave. On Sunday, Tommy and I flew out to Arizona to see my brother and his family and get some dental work done. So weird to have my brother drilling my teeth...the one who dunked me in the pool when we were younger. We had a great time. Becca and Julie are home this week too, so we're having fun with babies and kids and eating lots of fun food.

Week Wun in the West

The boys and I are in California right now while Barrett is studying for the bar. Damon is loving being here and so am I:) The second grandpa walks in the room, he's got a little shadow whether he likes it or not. Damon is learning the value of hard work...well, not really, but it makes me think that he's a "problem child that has been sent to live with his grandparents who live on a farm to learn the value of hard work." He's helped my mom pick green beans and tomatoes and likes to pull them in this mini wagon or a bucket. The other night he helped my dad trim the rose bushes...he was responsible for carrying the basket of clippings and picking up the soft petals that fell on the ground. We went and saw some crazy animals off Hwy 59 last Saturday...lots of donkeys, emus, and long horned cattle. Damon found a cute little doll stroller and has been loving pushing it around full of toys. Tommy fell asleep one day sitting in the feeding chair. We've been trying to adjust to being in a home with a yard...so fun! The boys are both sick and Tommy has been pretty miserable. He's not sleeping through the night anymore! He has two little bottom teeth and likes to be held so he can kick his legs. We miss Barrett, but not being stranded or stressed.

Just a few pictures of the last few weeks or so. We've been busy with Barrett studying for the bar, trying to find things to do without a car, surviving, getting through tonsilitis and a root canal, and finally hopping on a plane!
