Little Walker

Hannah decided to start walking last week, but this week she's really taken off. She's starting to get really fast too!

I've started turning on Baby Einstein DVDs for Hannah while I'm helping Damon with homework. She really loves them. This picture cracks me up because she can't get any closer, her neck is so craned!
Saying good bye to Daddy and Damon in the morning:)
Tommy's been making some fun projects in preschool, but the 2 days he's home with me, I've been trying to have a few activities for him to do. We did all kinds of things with these little trees and m&ms and dice. Color sorting, counting, adding, subtracting...
Hannah loves flipping through books. I love these new cheetah pants...instant cuteness the second we put them on her!
She loves Tommy's Velma (from Scooby-doo). She loves putting her in her mouth and wandering around...it is super cute!

We made "Y" cookies since the big rivalry game was this weekend. Tommy even said in a prayer: Bless that the BYU Cougars can play the Utes.

Finally...

Finally the day came for Tommy to start Preschool...he was so excited to finally go!! He was so brave and couldn't stop telling me how much he loved it when I picked him up. The second day when I picked him up, he whined and whined about how "all his friends stay for lunch" and why couldn't he?!! Third day, he was excited again, but then told me he got in trouble in the gym (sometimes I don't know how much I can trust what comes out of his mouth). When we were running out the door on the first day, I said I needed to take his picture. He said, "Oh, so you can remember me." So cute!

Little Missy decided to walk this week!!!! She is getting pretty good at it too. I'm really concerned about the stairs now...worried she'll teeter too close and fall down. She also finally got her 4th bottom tooth...and is cutting a molar!! She's starting to mimic a lot more too. I asked her to say "please" on day and she signed it by rubbing her chest and saying "peeezzz". Adorable! If you ask her to blow a kiss, she will. If you ask her for a kiss, she'll give you a good open mouthed one:) We swear she says "daddy". She also says "uh-oh" a lot now too. And I was excited that she let me put a clip in her hair for 30 minutes or so at church today:)

Damon (with the help from his dad) worked all afternoon wiggling his tooth. That little guy would not come out! It could twist all the way around and was still hanging on! (This picture is of his tooth backwards)
 (This is his crazy face)

Family Time

We have been loving spending time outside in the evenings. Hannah has loved pushing this little push toy up and down the sidewalk (until the big kids got a hold of it and broke it).

Hannah got some new clothes recently (yay for clearance time!). Tommy was so excited for her to wear this tutu and we just had to get a picture of her in it...she's too cute:)

We were given the opportunity to use the boss's beach house again! We had some extra Funland tickets, so after Barrett got off work, we headed down. We got rock star parking, saw a super cute girl from church, ate a delicious dinner, got taffy, saw the beautiful ocean in the evening light, and went to Funland.

I found some courage and tried Freefall...I screamed and giggled everytime I went down, I couldn't help it!
Tommy was so excited to ride this one with the big guys!
Hannah loved the carousel! The boys were on it too, behind me.
The next morning, we did a little shopping and hit up the beach in the afternoon. It was the perfect day.
Tommy convinced his daddy to let him bury him.

This darling girl just loves the beach, sand, and waves. It is so fun. The beach was so fun and we would have stayed longer if we weren't starving and I had to write a talk for church.

Labor Day Weekend 2013

We had a fun Labor Day Weekend. Unfortunately, I didn't take many pictures. We started it off Friday with no school for Damon. We had some coupons to Chick-fil-A, so I took the kids there for lunch, then to Sam's Club. That night we had a farewell slumber party with our good friends that have been here this year clerking for a judge. They moved out of their place Friday, but had such a wild, stressful week that they decided to stay the night with us! We said our good byes in the morning. As always, it is hard to say good bye to such wonderful people.

Saturday we took the kids to Killens Pond Water Park. It was such a hot, sunny day! We all loved it! We picked up Little Caeser's Pizza on the way home and some movies from Red Box. We had a fun movie party that night.

We went to church Sunday and afterwards while the boys were eating lunch, I was explaining that Dad has to stay after to count tithing. Damon said,"I wish I could count tithing, then I could sneak some!" It was pretty difficult explaining how incredibly wrong that would be...his thought was: people know I'm in there, so I'm not stealing because stealing means you break into someone's house and take something. Yikes...hopefully he finally understood! That afternoon we tried a new dessert recipe called Turtle Cookie Bars. The boys had a hard time understanding why they were called "turtle" cookie bars. I think I explained it at least 3 times! We then dropped some off to some friends, then got ready for bed. Hannah learned how to climb the boys' ladder to their bunk beds!!! She thought she was the coolest thing. Now we have to take the ladder down if we're all in there...apparently she starts climbing while everyone's saying prayers:)

On Monday, we decided to go up to the Christiana Mall to get Barrett a new suit. We always have to stop by the Lego store so the boys can play too.Afterwards we caved and went to CPK. Hannah snagged her daddy's credit card when he put it down on the table. It was pretty adorable!
The boys played Hide and Go Seek with their dad that afternoon, then helped a friend move their treadmill. Tommy discovered his friend's bike with training wheels and wouldn't get off. When they got home, I took off alone and went shopping while Barrett put the training wheels back on Damon's bike so Tommy could ride around. I got home to all kids still awake helping their dad with his 3rd Fantasy Football Team. The boys were pretty cute trying to help. Some of the things they were saying: Ooh get him--he looks nice! We want Uncle Tanner on our team! Get Travis' Dad!! That player looks like a girl with long hair!

It was a great weekend!
