Such a Cutie!

It was freezing the other day so I put Hannah in this adorable fleece outfit. She was too cute, I had to take some pictures. She could not stop smiling for me!! Such a doll!!

Gettin' in the Christmas Spirit

Last Saturday Nathan came to visit. We went to Fifer's for s'mores, hot cider, and a hay ride. He also made sugar cookies and frosted them with the boys. He even took the boys to Chick fil-A while Barrett and I went to an appreciation dinner at the church. Unfortunately, we didn't have much time to chat and play with him. Tommy cried the next morning getting ready for church because Nathan was leaving. Oh, and he kept calling him "Quinny."

The boys are always wanting to make gingerbread cookies. I bought a little mix, so we made them one day and they frosted them. I guess I need to teach them how to frost cookies...serious overkill of frosting and sprinkles!!
Yes, this is a gingerbread boy...
I've been taking Tommy to story time at the library twice a week in December. He's been making some fun crafts! Christmas cards with glitter glue (he has a new love for glitter glue!), snowflake ornament (with glitter glue!), and reindeer headband. He wore this all morning long...even at the post office:)
Miss Hannah in her Christmas clothes.

Hannah wasn't in the mood for a cute picture...check out that pouty lip!
 And...here she is screaming...
We are very excited for Santa to come!

O Christmas Tree

We finally got our Christmas tree this week. We couldn't decide what to do about it this year. Should we go to a tree farm to choose and cut down, go to Lowes, or buy a fake one? We finally decided to get a real tree but wanted to support our favorite place, Fifer's Orchards, instead of Lowes:) The only problem...they were closing in 25 minutes and I ended up having to feed Hannah and rush the boys. Barrett beat us there and paid for the tree and we picked one out in less than 5 minutes. Damon wasn't too happy about our choice, but now that its up, I think it is beautiful. Go us!

Barrett moved the furniture around then put the tree up. Then we decorated it.Tommy was super into decorating the tree. He loved every ornament and everything about the process. Damon spent most of the time playing with his birthday toys. Now it feels like Christmas!

December Birthdays 1 & 2

I enjoyed another birthday. We got take out from Olive Garden the night before so we would have left overs for my Sunday birthday. The boys were so excited for me to open presents. Tommy helped me rip every one of my gifts open and then he tossed it aside before I could even see what I got. They sent me on a scavenger hunt to find the bulk of my gifts...which were located in my new ottoman:) Barrett made cupcakes with different flavored frosting...lime, coconut, and peanut butter. I was spoiled.

The next morning was Damon's birthday! He had to know how many gifts we was going to get. I talked him into pancakes for breakfast...really it was talking him out of donuts! I made him pancakes for breakfast and we listened to the birthday song while eating. Tommy just couldn't handle it and started dancing in his chair, then it moved to the kitchen floor. I had to play the song 3 times for him so he could dance...and Damon left for school somewhere in there. Damon had to wear his new plaid shirt which made him look so grown up. I took Star Wars cupcakes into his classroom while he was at lunch...he really wanted me to drop them off in his classroom while he was at lunch...but I snuck in the lunchroom to wave to him:) He loved all his presents...especially his new Tony Hawk sweatshirt and skateboard guys. He wanted a skateboard cake, so we make a ghetto looking half pipe and plopped a skateboarder dude on there. He loved it:) We can't believe he's 6!!

2 Months

This little sweetie pie turned 2 months recently (ok, maybe like 2 weeks ago now). She is growing and getting more and more cute each day. At her appointment, she weighed 10 pounds 8 ounces! She was a trooper for her shots too. She still has us wrapped around her tiny little fingers...Barrett and I trade off holding her while she sleeps at night. She's gotten better during the day and will sleep in her car seat, but she wakes up every single time we lay her on her back. She loves to play with her little unicorn/pony play mat our neighbor gave her. She is finally beginning to tolerate her bouncer:) She loves the boys. Every time Tommy comes up to her, she smiles, even though he's becoming less and less gentle...Barrett saved Hannah from Tommy holding her upside down by her feet. She kinda dislikes her daddy right now. It's pretty funny. I'll hold her and she's happy or asleep, the second I pass her off to Barrett, she fidgets and cries. If I take her back, she's quite and happy again. Barrett thinks its because he's the one who swaddles her and pins her arms down:) We just love this pink little thing!

Santa Excitement

We're excited for Santa around here. Tommy is so excited for Santa. He often talks about him and almost every night asks, "Is this the night Santa comes?" Damon will ask me if Santa's real and Tommy will respond with some reason why he is...it is really sweet:) The boys wrote their letters and we dropped them off at the mailbox in the mall. They were very excited!

Tommy's Creations

Tommy desperately wanted to do little projects every day. Some times he is very particular about how he wants his project to be.

These two were my favorite. He cut the indian out himself. This little turkey guy was hilarious. He told me exactly what shapes he wanted. So cute.

Some funny "underwear" stories:
One day Tommy had just gotten dressed and was dancing around, then stopped and said, "Oops. I forgot my underwear."

Another day Tommy kept pulling at his bum. I finally checked, and yep, his underwear were on backwards!
