The boys made posters for their dad's birthday and Damon did most the wrapping of his presents. He got some pretty fun stuff...candy, promised tickets to a baseball game, money for a new guitar, shirt and shorts, cards, a razor, and new toes (a week before his birthday he had 2 ingrown toenails worked on). It was quite the birthday adventure!

Birthday Boy
Barrett was lucky enough to get the day off for his birthday...but so did most everyone! We kind of celebrated it all weekend. Saturday afternoon we picked Kim up at the BWI airport. Barrett discovered a Guitar Center minutes away, so I dropped him off while I picked up my sister and then we picked him back up. We then went to Red Robin for dinner...we sure miss being 5 minutes away from that place. Sunday we ate a special birthday dinner and had cake (we had to squeeze seminary graduation in there so we couldn't invite friends over like we had hoped to). Monday we had a special birthday breakfast with breakfast burritos and orange julius. We had a tasty BBQ at our church picnic, watched the boys slide on the huge slip and slide and waterslide (Kim took pictures...they were adorable!), then came home and lounged. That night 2 of his young men came over. They have been bugging him for 3 months about making him a cake for his birthday and buying all kinds of presents. Thankfully they just came over with a cake and card...oh and their skateboards (more on that later).
