Last Day of the Family Reunion

Saturday marked the end of the reunion. We spent the morning packing up and cleaning my aunt's house. Another aunt and uncle stopped by to visit for a few moments. It was so fun to see them. We eventually all ended up at my parents house. Some swam a little until it was time for lunch. After lunch, we had mini ice cream cones and played with bubbles, water guns, balloon rocket things, and hula hoops.



Both Julie's and Mark's families left. It was sad to see them go.

We had a mini surprise baby shower for Jami. Kim, Jenny, and Becca made her a diaper cake and she had a few presents to open.
That night we did Karaoke. It was a blast. Jaxson was awesome and thinks he's going to be the next American Idol. Jenny showed up Celine Dion. Becca showed us a new dance move that had us all crying we were laughing so hard. Spence wants to be Bon Jovi. Barrett found his inner-star and was contemplating quitting his day job for the stage. It was a really fun night!

The next day, Spence's family left with Kim and Paul along for the ride. I also took Barrett to the airport. That just left my mom and dad, Jenny and Afton, Becca and Henry and Zoey, and me and Damon and Tommy. It was really sad to say goodbye to everyone. We missed the 3 matching mini vans, the older cousins to play with younger ones, the enormous amounts of good food, the late night chats and memories, Chocolate Malted Krunch ice cream (CMK), and all the lively entertainment. What a fun week...I want to go back!
