April Weather

Last week was really warm, like in the 80s warm!! The boys loved wearing their shorts, we went to the park, ate popsicles, and played outside as much as we could. I even had to turn on the ac!!

Tommy decided to decorate Hannah...she didn't really appreciate it.

 Here's little missy staying cool inside while her brothers sweat it out in the 88 degree weather!!

 By the end of the week it cooled down a little. It rained all day Friday. When it stopped, the boys snuck out and played in a giant puddle in the front of the house. It was fun watching them discover things. First Damon came to tell me he cut a worm in half and the head kept moving (he was very excited about this new discovery). Then, they discovered if they took the parachute guy and swung it in the puddle, the parachute fills up with water.Then they made potion by scooping dirt and dropping it in the puddle. 

 Damon let his Daddy pull out his tooth that was loose. I couldn't believe Barrett actually did it...he gets really squirmish. And just the night before we watched Rise of the Guardians...kinda perfect timing!

I hurt my back this weekend doing nothing serious. I was cleaning and organizing and bent down to move a little bag and out went my back. It has been difficult to do anything. Poor Hannah has suffered the most because I can't bounce her and walk her to sleep. She finally gave up on me today and fell asleep like this...ADORABLE!! Unfortunately, it didn't last long.

 Ever since the cousins were here, Tommy has been into making really cool designs with his tracks. He puts them through the Batcave or off a stool or whatever he can come up with. It is fun to see his creativity. 

The boys loved playing baseball outside this weekend with their dad. They also helped plant tomato plants and a pepper plant and get our blueberry, raspberry, and blackberry buckets from the back porch to the front.

The other day we were on a walk and Tommy was pushing Hannah in the stroller. He talked my ear off all about how when he grows up he wants to be a newspaper boy, so when its his birthday, he wants a bike, newspapers, and a ringer (a bell for his bicycle). Pretty adorable.

One day the boys were outside playing. Damon would ride his scooter and go off a little jump we made. Tommy was drawing with chalk. Every time Damon would get near, Tommy would commando roll onto the grass so Damon wouldn't ride over him. It was pretty hilarious to watch.

One day we were listening to songs on the computer. Damon said, "Mom, do you have Michael Jackson's Thrillah?" Thrillah huh? I about died. I found "ThrillER" and showed the boys how to dance like zombies...they thought it was pretty funny. And now we know what he learns from his friends at recess.

Damon has also been saying, "Ya'll" a lot lately. And not the Texas or southern "ya'll"...more like a gangsta from the hood. It drives Barrett and I crazy.

Damon showed us how to do Gangum Style...another thing he learns from his friends at school. Tommy loves to sing it...
