Hannah enjoyed walking out on the fresh snow.
The boys' favorite thing to do in the snow this year was play football with dad in the backyard.
She loved eating/licking "ice cream".
I got these Pop Tarts at Byler's. They were different baseball teams. Damon was really excited to find a SF Giants one!!
Damon made football cards and opened up a shop. He kept lowering the price when not many had sold. He even ended up accepting Chuck E Cheese tokens!
One Sunday, Hannah got a bag of girly things from a cute girl at church. Butterfly wings, a wand, tutu, and princess shoes. She loves them!
At the beginning of February, we had an FHE lesson on filling our home with love. Every breakfast and dinner we wrote down things we loved about someone else or something they did. It also turned into a reminder for those that were not being kind or speaking unkind and not filling our home with love...I ended up calling them Love Notes. Barrett and Damon were having a little argument one night so I had them both write 3 love notes to each other. One of Damon's said something he loved about Dad then had "Sarcastic" written underneath. We thought it was pretty creative!
The few winter crafts the kids made. That poor packing peanut snowman kept loosing his shape!
Damon had the Blue and Gold Banquet for Cub Scouts the end of February. The theme was pirates and the boys worked on a pirate skit. They each had to make a prop. Lucky for Damon, they had a snow day that week so he had time to make a pretty cool sword.
There was also a Father/Son cake contest. Barrett wasn't home any night that week to help, so I helped him out. He really did most of it and won the award for most decorated:)
Tommy really didn't want to go and whined the whole drive there, until he saw the awesome decorations and fun props to play with!
We went to the temple one Saturday in February. We dropped the kids off at Nathan's and headed off to the temple to do sealings. We had a great experience in the temple and the kids had a great time with Nathan. We all ventured out to see the Lincoln Memorial. We had let the boys watch Night at the Museum 2 which was at the Smithsonians. When we told Tommy that we were going to see Lincoln, he said: ooh! can we climb on him?!
After homemade pizza and Brazilian cheese bread, we went out for ice cream to celebrate Nathan's birthday earlier in the month.
Hannah discovered all these little bowls and containers in that little cupboard and played with them all afternoon. Nathan might need to get a child lock for it next time!
