World Series

Our family really enjoyed the World Series this year! Barrett grew up loving the San Francisco Giants. So, naturally, his sons do too:) Barrett was able to go to a playoff game with Nathan and saw the Giants play the Nationals. He cheered for the Nats and even bought a shirt to wear there! He had an awesome time. Then, when the Giants made it to the series, he busted out his Giants shirts!! He bought a new tv and an antennae so he could get some stations a few months ago. We were able to watch the series! We let the kids stay up until about the 4th inning each time, but the last game, Damon watched the entire thing! He was so into it. He can name the entire Giants starting line up. The boys thought it was cool that they won, but even cooler that the MVP Madison Bumgarner was given a truck! They've been playing baseball a lot in the backyard and we even bought the movie Sandlot (which we didn't remember had so many potty words). One day I saw Damon in the backyard pretending he was pitching to someone. It was hilarious! We even ordered some Giants cups from the school fundraiser and they came the day after the series! They are highly used cups around here now.

Tommy drew this mural of the Giants and sold it to his Dad for his office (I can't get the picture to rotate!)
This cutie loved staying up playing with Daddy's hat.
