Another Week

We had crazy weather this week. Some days it was really warm, some days it was cooler, and some days it rained. We tried to play outside as much as we could. Damon and I drew little shops/stores along the front sidewalk for him to stop at on his trike. We even made him a parking spot behind the van. He loved it. We loved eating popsicles outside too. The boys enjoyed wearing their sunglasses one day. Tommy thinks he's so cool with them on.




On Friday, Barrett came home from work and mowed the lawn. It started raining and quickly turned into a downpour. After awhile we saw the most beautiful double rainbow!


This weekend we had Stake Conference. Elder Anderson of the 12 apostles was coming to speak. When we first heard about it, we thought our stake was splitting and we had mixed emotions. After talking with some people, our minds were changed. It was good to see an apostle and hear him speak. Damon and his dad even got to go shake his hand afterwards.
Our friends from our old place were able to visit with us afterwards. Damon loved having some girls to play with. The almost 3 year old came up to me and very sadly said, "Tommy's mom, they won't play with me. I'm the princess and Damon's the prince, and he won't marry me!" It was so fun having girls over to play! Tommy adored the 2 1/2 month old baby and just wanted to squeeze her and hug her:) The kids had ice cream cones and Tommy had his first. He knew exactly what to do with it!


We pulled out some new pajamas from our "hand me down box". Damon loved wearing them!I took this picture for you Quinn!
