The Quick Lengthy Run Down of This Week's Festivities!

-Damon ate a whole apple for his lunches this week (we usually have apple slices). Tommy liked when Damon would share.
-We made a bunny out of a sock (it was supposed to be a child's sock, but we used one of mine instead...it made it an overweight super fat bunny)



FRIDAY:
-Barrett had work off!
-Kim came to play for the weekend!
-We went on a "hike" at Killen's Pond then had a picnic.
-Damon and Barrett finally bought some soil and planted their crops.
-Ate Hardee's burgers and onion rings...loved it!
-Kim and I went to Super WalMart Friday night before Easter...bad idea!!
-Watched BandSlam...loved it and would watch it again.
-Ate Breyer's Rocky Road:)
-Stayed up too late!






SATURDAY:
-Uncle "Twinny" showed up sometime during the night/early morning
-Quick tour of downtown Dover and Barrett's office
-Watched General Conference (it starts at noon here!)
-Damon would say to Quinn, "Hey Twinny, wanna play iPod?"
-Had a delicious smorgusboard of food for lunch.
-Dyed Easter Eggs
-Tommy dyed one yellow egg (thanks for the tip Meagan), then we gave him a bowl of water with a cracked egg...he loved it.
-Nathan came in time for dinner.
-Boys went to the Priesthood Session of General Conference with 2 of the young men...they asked Barrett why he couldn't be more like his brother:)
-Kim and I hung out, painted toes (just me), watched tv, and enjoyed being sisters
-We all ate ice cream...too bad Priesthood session is from 8-10 here, Rita's closed at 10!
-Stayed up much too late









SUNDAY:
-Ate waffles, whipped cream, strawberries, orange juice, Lit'l Smokies. Thanks to Quinn, Damon wanted peanut butter, whipped cream, strawberries, and syrup on each of his waffles.
-Had an egg hunt.
-Damon loved hunting his eggs and ate all his candy before he headed inside (smart me only put one jelly bean or whatever candy it was in each plastic egg).
-Tommy knew what was in the eggs. He would pick one up and open it to eat the candy. If he couldn't get it open, he'd walk over to Kim wherever she was and have her open it.
-Damon would share his candy with Tommy.
-Tommy decided to play Chubby Bunny by himself. He stuffed 3 bunny marshmallows in his mouth at once!
-We watched General Conference and enjoyed Damon playing with Quinn's iPod touch.
-Made and ate our Easter Feast!
-Damon licked the bowl from the sugary ham glaze.
-The deviled eggs took entirely way too long, but were good:)
-Tangy beans were delish, potatoes and peas were just like I remembered them, and the Simply Lemonade was simply delicious!
-The last session of Conference was good. The little boys were wearing down. We pulled out bubbles on the deck for them.
-The second egg hunt was a must for little boys that needed something to do.
-Dessert was fantastic.
-Nathan packed up to go.
-Kim packed up to go.
-Damon was playing in the tent with Quinn and loving it.
-Tommy started coughing and wheezing like crazy. We neb-ed him, then took him to the ER.
-A chest X-Ray and breathing treatment and a few hours later, on our way home.
-Quinn had parental initiation while we were at the hospital and passed with flying colors: he changed a 3 year old dirty diaper, got the 3 year old in his pjs with teeth brushed, said prayers, read scripture story and books, and got him to sleep!
-Quinn left in the wee hours of the morning.

We loved having friends and family with us this weekend. We loved listening to our prophet and church leaders this weekend. We loved the sunshine. We loved the beautiful flowers and blossoming trees. We loved the good food and good conversations. We love our Saviour Jesus Christ.
