Z-O-O and More

Barrett had the day off Thursday, so we went into Washington DC to the National Zoo. We left late in the morning and got there around lunch time. It was a little chilly, but we warmed up fast. Tommy didn't take a nap on the drive there, so he was pretty wired and RAN just about the entire zoo. The boys loved seeing the Panda Bears, elephant, birds, zebras, cheetahs, snakes, crocodiles, turtles, donkey, gorillas, and the tiger. It was a really happy time at the zoo:)

After the zoo, we went to a mall food court to eat a little dinner. We have been wanting to see the lights at the Washington DC Temple, so we were finally able to make it work. The boys loved it, Barrett and I thought it was pretty magical too (not as good as Salt Lake Temple lights). Damon kept telling me we had to take a picture because it was so beautiful. We even ran into a friend from our old town. We were really glad we went. It was such a happy family day!
