Legos, Fire Trucks, and Fun!

Tommy was playing with all these Lego guys one day. They decided to join us while we read books.
It was fire safety week. Fire fighters brought their fire truck to Tommy's Preschool. He was so excited to get a badge, hat, and see Mr. Mike (the real fireman!). I loved his fire truck craft.
This was Hannah's favorite spot one day. It was too cute. She'd take books there, toys, and even giggle at Tommy from here.

Damon didn't have school Friday so we went with some friends up to the Children's Museum. It had been raining for a few days and was even pouring on the drive up there...so it was the perfect day to spend in a fun museum! There was a super fun Wizard of Oz exhibit. Totally made us want to pull the movie out and watch it!!

Tommy and his friend LOVED talking in the Wizard microphone. Of course they loved saying "potty words" into it also...but it was kinda hard to get mad when their voices were so funny. There was also a munchkin microphone that was hilarious to talk into.
Miss Hannah loved roaming around chasing this ball.
She also loved working in the garden:)

Thursday night was Family Math Night at Damon's school. The PTF provided a free spaghetti dinner (which was pretty tasty) and teachers were there with fun math games. So, the kids played a few math games, got the math games to take home, and even got a few math manipulatives. The Book Fair was also going on in the library...so we had to visit it!  It was a pretty fun night.

The rest of the weekend was filled with watching the Phineas and Ferb movie, eating delicious homemade tamales (homemade by awesome friends), doing a little shopping, discovering the back window in the van leaked so we had to soak up the trunk and fix the problem, Stake Conference, making progress on Halloween costumes, apple pancakes with caramel syrup, Halloween Family Movie Night package from Grandma, Hannah signing "please" to get more cake, and a much needed Sunday nap for mom.

I so miss that museum! The one we have here is itty-bitty. And that Wizard of Oz exhibit looks awesome!
