Tommy lost his first tooth June 19th! His two bottom teeth have been given their eviction notices for awhile now since the permanent occupants have been growing in. We've been wiggling them every day trying to guess which one was going to come out first. One afternoon, he came up to me and showed me his tooth. It was barely hanging on, so I helped pull it out! He was super excited and put his tooth under his pillow after I took a picture of it.
Well, Damon had a lose tooth also and was feeling bad that his wasn't out yet. He asked for a whole apple for snack purposely to help it come out! It worked and he pulled it out. It was a miracle, the tooth fairy came that night! (sometimes she's so busy, the tooth stays under the pillow a few nights) The boys were really excited!
The next day, Tommy's 2nd tooth came out! He had been wiggling it and it started bleeding, so I tried and tired to pull it out. When it came out, it bled a lot! Tommy put it under his pillow then wrote a note (really, he drew a picture) to the tooth fairy asking her to "not take the tooth and leave a dollar." We told his it didn't work like that, she pays you for the tooth. So, he changed it to mean "don't take the tooth and don't leave the dollar." It was pretty funny. Apparently he really wanted his dad's cuff link box to hold his tooth. He is hilarious!
