We haven't been to Mt. Vernon since moving to Delaware and it's only about 2 hours away! We were glad our cousins wanted to go and let us tag along. We got there a little before the cousins, and our kids were so cranky and kept asking where our cousins were. The second they showed up, all complaints stopped! We've decided that going places with cousins, makes life more fun! The kids loved the Scavenger Hunt for kids and it was fun to learn things about good ol' George. We spent a lot of time there so didn't really explore the museum...but of course we spent a good chunk of time in the gift shop:) Afterwards, we went back to enjoy our cousin's hotel pool. We stayed just a few minutes too long...Hannah was a basket case (which is an understatement!!!). We stopped off at the Annapolis Mall on the way home for a very late dinner. Barrett even bought everyone their own dessert!
These 2 year olds spent quite a bit of time perched on the fence looking at the sheep and just talking to each other. It was pretty adorable.

We didn't take our stroller, which meant Barrett had to carry Hannah quite a bit, but at one point, she just plopped down while we all walked ahead.
