Christmas 2013

Christmas morning finally came!! We had set Damon's watch alarm for 6:30 and told the boys they couldn't come out of their room until then. Well, Hannah had gotten up in the middle of the night and the boys woke up really early (like 4:45) so Barrett took the ipad into the boys and held them off until 7:00 so I could get a little more sleep. We let the excited boys go downstairs. Hannah woke up a few minutes later. They were excited to dump out their stockings and open their nerf guns and walkie talkies from Santa!

Hannah loved her mini cereal box from her stocking. She walked around all morning with it enjoying every fistful! Santa brought her a little doll stroller. She loved that thing! We put a doll in it (and her cereal) and she was all smiles pushing it around! (She's been really cranky the last few weeks, so this was magical!)

We got the boys bean bag chairs and Tommy loved his! He opened all his presents on it:)

I got Barrett a snowboarding helmet. He loves wearing it around the house. I'll turn around and notice he's wearing it...crazy.
Damon's school has a little Gift Shop one week in December so the kids can buy presents for family members. He loves picking out gifts and this year, he used his own money! He was really excited for Tommy to open this blanket he bought him!
Hannah loves her new laptop from Grandma and Grandpa.
 Tommy's loot!

 Damon's loot!

Grandma and Grandpa Edwards gave the boys legos that they requested. Tommy couldn't WAIT to build his gold ninjago dragon!! He did it almost by himself.

We also got the boys a soccer goal and soccer ball. We had to test it out.

Another fun gift, Twister! Super fun!

We had a great Christmas. The kids are so excited to see what they got and to have family members open the presents they picked out for them! We video chatted with grandparents and enjoyed playing with all our new stuff. Barrett made a delicious ham for dinner. I tried a new recipe for hashbrown casserole and jello pretzel salad. We're so grateful for this time of year to reflect on the birth and life of a loving Savior. Also, to feel the love of family members. We received some wonderful gifts and felt so loved.
