We checked into our hotel and got settled. Damon was hilarious! I realized he'd never stayed at a hotel that he can remember. He thought the little fridge was awesome and unloaded our cooler contents into it. He saw the ironing board in the closet and said,"Wow! A surf board!" Both boys loved the phone (which we had to unplug) and the remote control dock. It was so funny to see them so excited! I put Tommy to bed then Damon and I went to the airport to pick up Henry and Becca. The next morning we ate at the hotel breakfast bar...after a couple spills, we packed the car and headed to Niagra Falls. It was raining by the time we got there, but it eventually stopped. We were able to take a few pictures and walk across this bridge to a little island when it started pouring!! Two umbrellas, two strollers, 3 little boys, and three silly sisters finally made it back to the car. The boys were stripped down to their diapers/underoos and luckily we had 3 towels for the girls to sit on. About an hour and a half later we were checking into our next hotel outside Rochester.
It was nice to change clothes and get out of the car. We explored, ate a snack, and went to McDonalds play place waiting for my parents to show up. When they arrived, we headed to Cracker Barrel to eat. It was soooo good! Damon loved playing with Grandpa. Barrett finally made it later that night, and Matt's family eventually joined the party. The next morning we enjoyed the hotel breakfast and Barrett was able to take Damon swimming. He loved it!
