Last week in July

I can' believe it is the last day in July!! Yikes! Here's what we did this week...

Monday night we went to the Delaware State Fair. The boys loved it! Damon has been so into "maps" or brochures from all our adventures lately. He HAD to have 2 from the fair. We saw a bunch of animals...cows first. Tommy was in heaven! He was so excited and kept saying,"Bohhh!" (moo). They were able to go into a mini petting zoo and loved it. We saw tons of tractors and they were able to play with mini tractor toys and corn kernels...they could've stayed there all night. We saw a HUGE tractor or some kind of farming machine...the wheels were bigger than Barrett. We were able to hold baby chicks. I couldn't let Tommy hold them because I was afraid he'd squeeze them to death. We bought them ice cream cones from a Firefighter booth and got the best deal on treats at the fair...it only cost us 2 bucks for 2 big cones that the boys loved! They were exhausted, and so were we, but it was definitely worth it:)

Barrett went on High Adventure with the Scouts Wednesday through Saturday. I tried to come up with fun things to do with the boys. We went to the park, went to an indoor playground with friends, watercolored, made zucchini cake, colored with a new box of crayons, ate Smorz cereal, went to the library and heard some old guys play violins, read our library books, made froot loop necklaces, went to the park again, went to the store, went out for donuts, and missed our daddy. It was fun and exhausting. We're glad Barrett's back!
